A New Civil War? Why or Why Not?

The Civil War is a concept that many of us know all too well and has contributed to the United States to a certain extent. However, to what extent are the ideologies learned realistic, fantasy, or all in between. Many of our readings discuss past and present arguments about the Civil War and what truly did happen during this time frame of U.S History. Depending on who you ask, the stories and responses differ. Maybe there is no New Civil War, or a old one. Individuals continue to argue based on lived experiences and what they have been exposed to about the Civil War. To what extent is the Gettysburg Address valid and within reason? How did the presidential administration handle such crisis? We ask ourselves these questions as spectators from the outside who did not observe or analysis the events at the time. Our primarily focused readings are derived from history books and journal articles that others write. To New Civl War or not, It depends on the perspective and approach individuals are coming from.
